About Our Founder
Wendy is a lifelong dog lover and pet parent of over 20 years. After working with her degrees in business and nursing, she decided to follow one of her greatest passions of enriching the lives of canines and honoring the sacred animal-human bond when she founded Cypress Coast Canine Care in January 2024.
Wendy believes that canines have consciousness and a whole lot of soul.
Guided by that philosophy, we take the time to understand your pet’s personality, preferences, training cues, and daily routines to curate the best experience for them while in our care.

Every member of our team undergoes thorough background checks, is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross, and is trained in our comprehensive best practices for pet handling, safety, and specialized care.

We are based in beautiful Monterey, California, and typically serve the immediate surrounding areas including: Big Sur, Carmel, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley, Carmel Highlands, Marina, Seaside, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach.
